Volkswagen is introducing a great value new Lifetime Brakes replacement service as part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to driving down the cost of top quality car care and maintenance.
The simple new offer works like this: if a Volkswagen customer has their car’s brake pads or shoes replaced with genuine Volkswagen parts at a participating Volkswagen Retailer, they can return for free replacement pads or shoes whenever they wear out in future.

This lasts for as long as they own their Volkswagen and, as it includes the cost of parts and labour, it represents incredible value for money.
The offer applies as soon as the customer has a set of brake pads or shoes fitted at a Volkswagen Retailer; all they have to do is show the invoice for the initial brake pad or shoe replacement. And Volkswagen Retailers will only use Volkswagen Genuine Parts, all of which are covered by a two-year warranty.
The new Lifetime Brakes offer is the latest in a range of incentives, including Fixed Price Servicing, created by Volkswagen to drive down servicing and maintenance costs for the brand’s millions of owners nationwide.
Aside from great deals such as the new Lifetime Brakes offer, having a Volkswagen serviced or repaired at a Volkswagen Retailer brings with it all manner of advantages, among them the high-quality of training that the brand’s technicians receive. The German manufacturer invests in more than 70,000 hours of training each year for its UK technicians, who also have access to Volkswagen tooling and the latest Volkswagen technology.
Lifetime Brakes can work neatly alongside Volkswagen’s Fixed Price Servicing programme, too. Fixed Price Servicing brings peace of mind as the customer knows exactly what they will pay before any required servicing is carried out on their car.
As an example, with Fixed Price Servicing a Minor Service costs from just £159¹, including parts, oil, labour and VAT. It covers an oil and filter change, replacement of the pollen filter (where required) and includes an inspection of the lights, instruments, bodywork, glass, locks, battery, coolant levels, drive belts, braking system, steering, hoses, drive shafts and exhaust system. It also includes a full vehicle road test and diagnostic check. Finally, the service interval display is re-set and the customer receives a Volkswagen stamp in the car’s service book.
A variety of other services are available, including a Major Service and MoT Test. Fixed Price Servicing is available for all Volkswagen cars aged three to 15 years and with engines up to and including 2.0-litres.
